Nussecken (Triangle Nut Bars)

These delicious baked pastries are found in many traditional German bakeries. Nussecken. They are triangle shaped almond covered nut bars. The corners are dipped in high grade chocolate.  Almost everybody I know loves them and you will, too.

Wolfgang's original.  A traditional German shortcrust filled with hazelnut and almond filling.  Topped with a lightly sweetened glaze and dark chocolate and can be finished with a cherry.
